How it Works: Identifying Influential Online Sources

Using Google Alerts to build online relationships

Google Alerts is more than just a way to see what is being written about your company or product. It is also a way of finding out who is doing the writing. AlertRank dramatically enhances this process by putting all the alerts for every information source at your fingertips. You can immediately see how influential each source is, and review all their alerts in one place. This provides you with the background you need to start building relationships with key sources in an efficient manner.

Turning information overload into concise analysis

  1. Export customized source reports to PDF
  2. Select the date range for viewing your sources
  3. Set the minimum AlertRank Quality Score to view
  4. View sources for a specific search term
  5. View sources for a specific alert type
  6. Sort any column by clicking on the heading
  7. Click any source to open a full page of details

Each source has its own display page with all of its ranking data. This can be opened by clicking any source on the listing page.

You will also see a table of all the alerts from that source. Clicking any column heading in this table will sort the entire list. Clicking any alert in this table opens that alert's detail page.
