How it Works: Permanent Alert Storage and Reporting

Buzz management for Google Alerts made easy

Google Alerts is a powerful search tool, but it doesn't provide any tools for managing the flood of information it generates. Having dozens or even hundreds of alerts land in your mailbox every day guarantees that you won't be able to read more than a few of them. What do you do after a few months if you want to go back and review all the results for a specific search term?

AlertRank saves a copy of every alert you receive, and keeps them all available for as long as you have an account with us. It is easy to sort and search through this database of past alerts with a few mouse clicks. You can even export any section of this list to a PDF file for easy printing and sharing with others.

Google Alerts without information overload

  1. Export Google Alerts reports to PDF
  2. Select the date range for viewing past alerts
  3. Set the minimum AlertRank Quality Score to view
  4. View alerts for a specific search term
  5. View alerts for a specific alert type
  6. Sort any column by clicking on the heading
  7. Click any alert to open a full page of details

Each alert has its own display page with all of its source's ranking data. This can be opened by clicking any alert on the listing page.
